Easter is Coming

So my husband and I are coming up on our anniversary this next Monday. We decided we needed a break from life as you can see life is falling apart around us. So, we decided to take a trip to CA for a long weekend and have my parents care for Cooper. The problem: I have never left him alone over night yet. I’m a worrier and I miss him already! The Solution: He is in great hands.

With that said, I didn’t realize when we booked our trip that it falls on EASTER! That’s right it’s Easter weekend that we are celebrating our anniversary. The sad part is we will celebrate without our little man! My husband doesn’t see it as a big deal, but of course since I’m his mommy I do see it as a big deal especially after all that has occurred this past week!

Anyway, I was dying to do my nails for our trip and figured I should do something festive since it was a holiday weekend as well. I choose to do Robin Eggs and I’m not too sure how I feel about them….

Weekly Checkup

This is my weekly check up 10 days and to brittle nails later. I have such week nails and stopped taking my vitamins for no reason at all and within that short amount of time, two nails broke. BUT the good news is these wraps helped keep them from breaking further and holding them together quite well. They are a “nail Band-Aid!” They help with brittle nails and holds them together.

Check out the first day:

Floral seems to overtake the nail world lately. I used to not prefer floral but actually seeing it on has been more attractive to me as of recent. This photo gives floral a whole new meaning.

Weekly Look

Here’s my look of the week. I tend to gravitate more towards stripes as they are very chic, not too flashy and anyone and everyone tends to comment on them. They grab your attention without saying “too much!”

Jamberry Paint

Calling all women! Jamberry Nails are by far the best product you could possibly use on your nails. They help with ruined nail beds from the nail salon. Weak and brittle nails. Nails that bend and have no strength. If you are a nail biter these are for you. They of course are great for nails that are in great shape although I don’t know many people whose nails haven’t been ruined some how some way!

As you all know I am an independent consultant for Jamberry nails. My team manager Lisa was painting our kitchen cabinets when we first moved into our home and had amazing results from painting with these nail wraps on.

No need to explain further, the pictures are pretty self explanatory. Take a peek and see.

Yes that’s right, they scrubbed completely clean. She was using an oil based paint as well which if any of you know anything about oil based paint, it’s impossible to get off ANYTHING!

Tried and true these nails continue to surprise me in many ways and this is yet another.
